Quick checks
- Connect Slack — tap "Continue with Slack" in the side panel. Make sure you are using Slack web at
app.slack.comin the same Chrome window, not the Slack desktop app. - No draft appears — drafts only trigger for a new human message in the conversation you already have open. Switching channels re-primes the listener; older messages are not drafted.
- Side panel is empty after a message — reload the Slack tab, then open the MentionDraft side panel again.
- Monthly limit reached — 20 drafts/month free. Starter is 100, Plus 500, Pro 2,000. Subscribe or manage billing from the Chrome side panel.
- Draft tone is off — send a few real replies in that channel first so a style card can be built, then retry.
- Backend offline pill — the backend at mentiondraft.talakraft.com may be restarting. Wait 30 seconds and retry.
